Understanding Polarization: How Our Glasses Work

Our glasses feature mild (10–20%) polarization, specifically engineered to reduce glare without compromising your night vision. Unlike highly polarized lenses, which are too dark for nighttime conditions, our glasses strike the perfect balance by allowing maximum light to pass through while minimising distracting glare.

Polarization Test: How to Verify Polarization

You can easily verify the polarization of your glasses: Hold the glasses in front of a computer screen. Now rotate them 90°. You’ll notice the lenses darken slightly. This happens because polarized lenses filter horizontal light that reflects off flat surfaces, such as wet roads or car windshields. Non-polarised lenses do not darken when rotated.
