No dizzy, fast, and easy adaption.
Q: Why is the bottom part of side views distorted?
A: The design of the progressive lenses has distortion on the lower peripherals of the lens. This will always be there due to the integration of the progressive lens powers in one lens. You can usually eliminate the problem by making slight head movements to look more directly at objects – point your nose at what you want to look at.
Q: Which magnification should I purchase for progressive readers?
A: The magnification for progressive lenses gradually increases from the top to the bottom of the lenses. It is suggested to get a pair of progressive readers with just +25 stronger than the one of your normal reading glasses. This will help avoid blurry when you look at the objects, like a computer monitor, at an intermediate distance. For example, if your normal reading glasses are in +150, then it is recommended to get a pair of progressive readers with +175.
