Purilens Mini Preservative-Free Saline is a sterile, non-preserved, aqueous, isotonic solution of sodium chloride, buffered with boric acid and sodium borate, and used for rinsing and storing contact lenses. Purilens Mini Preservative-Free Saline is sterilized and packaged using aseptic processing (blow-fill-seal). Purilens Mini Preservative-Free Saline is manufactured in the United States by The Lifestyle Company, Inc.

Purilens Mini Preservative-Free Saline is indicated for use following proper lens disinfection as recommended by the eye care practitioner. Purilens Mini Preservative-Free Saline is for rinsing soft (hydrophilic), rigid gas permeable and hard contact lenses prior to lens insertion. This solution may also be used as an insertion solution for large diameter (scleral) contact lenses, as a rinse for contact lens cases, and may be used as needed throughout the day to rinse contact lenses.

How to Open Our Bottles

Inside the bottle cap is a molded insert that will pierce the container. To open the bottle, first remove the cap and discard the white plastic restraining ring. Avoid touching the tip of the bottle. Replace the cap then press down and turn the cap clockwise to pierce the container.PLEASE NOTE: The purpose of the restraining ring is strictly to avoid the bottle accidently being punctured and opened during transit. The white plastic restraining ring WILL NOT be attached to the cap or bottle. This is normal and does not indicate tampering.Re-close the bottle after use. Always wash and rinse your hands before you handle your lenses.Discard any remaining solution 14 days after opening. Record date opened in space provided on bottle label.

Manufactured Using Advanced Aseptic Packaging / Blow-Fill-Seal

Purilens bottles will not appear full to capacity. This is due to the rigidly controlled method in which they are manufactured, called blow-fill-seal. This process prevents the saline solution from coming into contact with air until the bottle has been pierced open using the mechanism within the cap, ensuring the solution’s sterility. You can be certain the Purilens bottle you receive contains either 2 or 4 fluid ounces of Purilens saline solution by weight.
